Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Chandigarh
Commence the day with a morning departure from Delhi to Chandigarh. Upon our afternoon arrival in Chandigarh, we are transferred to our accommodation. As the evening unfolds, we gather for a welcome dinner and orientation session, where we delve into Chandigarh’s distinctive architecture and urban planning.
Day 2: Exploring Chandigarh's Architecture
Embark on a guided tour of Chandigarh’s architectural wonders in the morning, including the Capitol Complex housing the Legislative Assembly, Secretariat, and High Court. In the afternoon, we visit the innovative Rock Garden, crafted from industrial and urban waste. The evening offers leisure time or an optional visit to Sukhna Lake.
Day 3: Travel to Shimla
We depart from Chandigarh to Shimla in the morning. Upon reaching Shimla in the afternoon, we settle into our accommodation and engage in an orientation session, acquainting ourselves with Shimla’s colonial legacy and mountain culture.
Day 4: Heritage Walk in Shimla
Morning brings a guided heritage walk along Shimla’s iconic Mall Road, where we explore landmarks like the Viceregal Lodge, now the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. The afternoon is dedicated to discovering Shimla’s colonial-era architecture, including Christ Church and Scandal Point. Optional evening vistas await at Shimla Ridge for panoramic mountain views.
Day 5: Excursion to Kufri
Departing from Shimla, we journey to Kufri, a picturesque hill station celebrated for its scenic beauty and adventure offerings. Afternoon adventures in Kufri are followed by our return to Shimla, where the evening offers opportunities for shopping or relaxation.
Day 6: Journey to Chail
Today, our journey leads us from Shimla to Chail. Upon arrival, we settle into our accommodation before embarking on an exploration of Chail’s attractions, including the regal Chail Palace and renowned Chail Cricket Ground.
Day 7: Nature Walk and Departure
Begin the day with a guided nature walk in Chail, immersing ourselves in the serene forests and Himalayan vistas. The afternoon is dedicated to reflection, as we share insights and experiences from our tour. We then bid farewell to Chail and embark on our transfer back to Delhi, concluding our educational journey.
